Between 2002 and 2003, we renovated and enlarged the original farmhouse, taking care to mantain the architectural style and the building materials typical of this region: stone, wood, terracotta tiles. So, in addition to the apartment where we live, we now have two further apartments for our guests, each with an independent entrance and a porch under which you can have meals or read a book.
During the winter of 2016 we renovated the kitchens of the apartments putting a much more spacious fridge and freezer, an induction cooker, an electric oven and a new extractor hood, thus taking the first step towards independence from LPG.
During the winter of 2017 we finished a new ambitious work: removing the gas boilers used for heating and domestic hot water, replacing them with a centralized air-water heat pump used for heating, summer air conditioning) and domestic hot water. We also put new solar panels of last generation. So, thanks to our photovoltaic plant of 32.4 kWp already realized in 2010, we are finally independent from gas and virtually our farm use only renewable energy!
The Small Apartment (50 sq m at ground floor with independent entrance porch) consists of a kitchen-living room with fireplace (you can light the fire only for ornamental use, but it is not possible to use it for cooking) and two single sofa bed (2 single beds or 1 double bed), a double bedroom and a large bathroom with a washing machine for the exclusive use of guests. Note that this apartment is also accessible to handicapped persons.
This apartment can accommodate up to 4 people.
The Large Apartment (106 sq m at ground floor with independent entrance porch) consists of a spacious kitchen-living room with fireplace (you can light the fire only for ornamental use, but it is not possible to use it for cooking) and a wooden loft with two single beds, three double bedrooms (one of which is very large and has also a double sofa bed and, additionally, its own private bathroom) and two bathrooms, the one inside the largest bedroom and another one in the corridor with a washing machine for the exclusive use of guests.

Both the appartments have color LCD TV and a Free Wide Band Wireless Internet Connection.
Our kitchens have all you need to cook by yourself (coffee maker, dishes, glasses, pots, and so on). You will also find some basic ingredients to prepare breakfast for the first days and meals by yourself (coffee, sugar, milk, lemon, tea, butter, biscuits and a homemade cake; salt, pepper, red hot pepper, garlic, onion, a bit of our extra vergin olive oil, vinegar)
The farmhouse is surrounded by a wide garden that allows our guests to enjoy peaceful hours, and children to play freely in a safe place, play Ping Pong or have a barbecue in the garden in the equipped area with a brick barbecue and a big picnic table under the big Poplar.
The Swimming Pool, surrounded by shady trees and lawn, is located in a quiet and secluded flower garden.
In the farmhouse there is a large room with a fire-wood oven, where we organize Cooking Classes: you can learn with us to make "fettuccine", potatos dumplings;, pizza and many other Italian traditional recipes, and have a nice dinner with us.
